Finding: On [DATE] at 10:27 a.m., a surveyor observed in the North/East Medication room refrigerator, an opened multidose vial of [MEDICATION NAME], Purified Protein Derivative (TB), with an open date of [DATE]. The manufacturer's instructions indicated that once entered, vial should be discarded after 30 days. At the time of the observation the Licensed Practical Nurse confirmed the vial was available for use and 5 days past the discard date.
